Ophelia of the Bathtub
£10.00
Ophelia of the Bathtub is a collection of poems about women’s lives – and how society polices, defends, vilifies and celebrates them. These poems touch on themes of autonomy, feminism, and interpersonal power dynamics, as well as the relationship between nature, magic and women’s bodies. Using formal structures like rhyme and rhythm, these poems examine the constraints placed upon women in modern life, and the ways we can free ourselves from those constraints.
